I have been a certified doula since 2019. However, because I work full-time, I can’t take on all the inquiries that I receive. I wanted to create a platform where I could easily help parents find an available doula if I couldn’t take them. I also wanted to create a tool that would give doulas of color in the area a way to be discovered more easily. 

Doulas have been proven to improve pregnancy outcomes for those who utilize one. It is also proven that having someone who looks like you can help you feel safer. Especially for BIPOC who are 3 times more likely to die during childbirth.
